Union Finance Ministry launches NSDC
Union Finance
Minister Pranab Mukherjee
on 20:10:09
launched the
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)
a Public Private Partnership (PPP) enterprise which is mandated
to skill 30% of the overall target of 500 million people by the year
2022.
NSDC is incorporated as a not for profit organization by Union
Finance Ministry under section 25 of the companies act 1956.
Share holding pattern is 51:49 between Private sector and
Government.
